Design is the foundation of sustainable development – during this workshop, you will discover how the ideas of sustainable management and circular economy can be turned into practice, giving technologies a second life.

The workshop shows that design can be a foundation of sustainable development and a starting point for rethinking the future of products and services. Participants will experience the principles of sustainable management and circular economy in practice.

In a world of limited resources and growing demands on business, it is not enough to talk about sustainability – it must be experienced and consciously designed. Circular economy teaches us to view every element as a potential resource that can gain new life and value.

During the workshop, participants will first receive a short introduction to the concepts of sustainable management and circular design. Then, working in groups, they will dismantle IT devices, identify materials, propose new applications for them, and collaboratively design the “second life” of technology.
