How can we keep going when initial enthusiasm turns into burnout? This is a reflection on the trap of passion at work and what helps us survive it.

Why are those who start change with passion also the ones most at risk of burnout? In this talk, I will explore the paradox of enthusiasm – the force that drives innovation but, under certain conditions, can become a heavy burden.

I will share my personal experience of burnout as a change leader, the emotional journey of deep engagement, and why it is often the people with the strongest sense of purpose who cross their own limits. We will look at the mechanisms that take us from idealism to overload and how organizational environments can either support or weaken our inner capacity to act.

I will also share reflections and micro-practices that help keep the creative spark alive over the long run. This is an invitation to talk about how we can take care of ourselves while working to change the world for the better.
